BA, Public Policy

My future plans:
With my college degree, I plan to influence the way companies make decisions, and shape society with their products and services. I want to transfer the skillset I learned as an undergraduate at Duke to the marketplace. I have all this knowledge of the world from my classes and internships that I believe will benefit my employer’s decision making.

Why college?
It changes your perspective about society and your role in it. Before attending college, I thought I was just another person in the world. A university education boosted my confidence and empowered me with the skills to make meaningful contributions in my community.

Advice to KIPPsters entering college:
Be ambitious and dream big. Universities give students opportunities to explore the world and make meaningful contributions to their communities. High aspirations can help you in the process, as well as your neighbors.
