Every year on October 11 we celebrate coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer.
Deciding to come out to close friends and family is a pivotal moment in a young person’s life that can bring on a range of emotions. Whenever they make the decision to come out it’s important for them to know they are not alone in their journey and there isn’t one right way to come out, it’s a personal experience.
