Meet Emani’. KIPP Bay Area alumna and recent Spelman graduate. Emani’ wants to start a support group for mothers of color that provides resources for those who strive to balance raising a family with work, education, health and community involvement.
Meet Jordan. KIPP Baltimore alumnus and recent University of Pittsburgh graduate. Jordan plans to go to Emerson for an MFA program in Creative Writing. After that, he wants to to write for TV cartoons and create a cartoon of his own.
Meet Jennifer. KIPP Houston alumna and recent Duke University graduate. Jennifer says college boosted her confidence and empowered her with the skills to make meaningful contributions in her community.
Meet Charles. KIPP Metro Atlanta alumnus and recent University of Georgia graduate. Charles plans to return to his middle school, KIPP WAYS Academy, as a Teach For America Corps Member to teach 6th grade English!
